About

I began my design studies by enrolling in a 4-year graphic design program offered by my high school in Southern California. During my time there, I was the Head Yearbook Design Editor, managing deadlines as well as working with and teaching peers about Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, began an Influence Film Club giving peers access to independent documentary films on current global issues, as well as being a lead designer for the Monarch’s Publicity Team. In 2016, I began working at a retail design company in Santa Ana, CA and was responsible for digitally organizing the millwork plans for both the creation and refurbishing of Lazy Acres grocery stores in the greater Los Angeles area. In this job, I primarily used Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel as well as being introduced to AutoCAD.

Post graduating from high school, I moved to Seattle, WA to begin my studies as a Design major at the University of Washington. There I began a 3-month summer internship under the WNBA organization, Seattle Storm. I worked under the marketing department as a digital media intern, and my main tasks were to create graphics for various social media platforms, consistently update socials, and work closely and collaboratively with the photographers and videographers.

In 2018, I transferred to Parsons School of Design in New York City where I began my studies as a BFA Illustration major with a minor in Communication Design. In the summer of 2019, I began an internship working as a graphic designer and illustrator for a start up, LabFinder, in Midtown Manhattan.
